Trailogy’s BIG Idea—How We Helped Them Make it Happen

Trailogy had a BIG idea: help neurodivergent families with some of the most confusing or difficult aspects of their experiences: making educational decisions, finding providers, dealing with crises, and more.

We were immediately in love with the idea and couldn’t wait to turn this BIG idea into a mighty brand.

Their name comes from their experience: they’ve spent years mapping neurodivergence’s terrain in their own lives, and they wanted to create services that they’d wished for when they were first starting out on their journeys (how awesome is that?!).

They were already well on their way to building their business, and they had reached the point where they needed a website that could do more than simply list their services and contact info.

They also needed help with their branding—a color palette and set of designs for their marketing materials and a logo that visually represented their clients’ journeys.

We met with them, talked over their needs, then got ready to rock.

Creating Branding Elements that Represented Neurodivergent Families’ Journeys

The word “trail” in Trailogy represents the long path through unfamiliar territory that neurodivergent families must navigate—often on their own.

Trailogy positioned themselves as guides on this journey (which, btw, is probably one of the smartest ways to position your business in almost any industry).

They wanted branding elements, website imagery, colors, and a logo that represented this idea.

We dove into this work, choosing colors often found on trails in nature—forest greens were an obvious choice, but rather than pairing it with a brown (not the best color…), we went with a darker yellow that represented sunlight and warmth (yay!).

We then created a logo that included these colors and elements representative of their journey, including a mountain and a sunset at the top and bottom of the logo.

They loved the ideas and workshopped them with us until they were super happy with the result. With their branding in place, we applied it to their new website. While they provided the content, they needed help with imagery and a few custom tools (our specialty).

Building Custom Tools: Client and Provider Assessments

Trailogy had several assessments for both providers and clients that were cumbersome to send via email or other means.

We turned these assessments into custom forms. All Trailogy had to do was send them the link.

Once the assessments were completed, they would automatically go to the right person.

Everyone at Trailogy loved it—it made their lives easier, made their clients’ lives easier, and helped them to feel far more professional when sending assessments to providers.

With everything in place, we launched the website—check it out here.
